The themes I’m exploring in my paintings revolve around a fascination for nature, and the beauty and solace I find in the natural world. The knowledge our ancestors had about plants and herbs fascinates me deeply. It's troubling to see how this wisdom has faded away over time, leading to a disconnection between human societies and the needs of our environment. My childhood spent playing outside, noticing plants and enjoying the smells of the grass and earth, ingrained this love of nature in me. Making my work soothes my climate anxiety and helps me to reflect on the intricate and entwined relationship between humanity and nature.
